This wedding day at the Highlands Estate in Cloverdale was an absolute dream. When Becca and Brian first got engaged, they immediately planned to elope. They liked the idea of keeping things simple, effortless and focused on their love and commitment. However after talking with family and friends, they began to consider the idea of having a more “traditional” wedding. Becca told me that as soon as she saw the Highlands Estate she KNEW it was where she wanted to get married, which was a feeling neither of them expected to have. It had everything they wanted. The sweeping views of the vineyards, mountains and a beautiful barn that would provide the perfect ambience for their dinner and reception.
Fast forward and it’s August 6th. Becca got ready at the Blackberry Ranch which is only a short 5 minute drive from the Highlands Estate. There was so many small, special details that I loved about their day. For example, Brain picked out her wedding shoes (and I have to say he did amazing). Becca had also told me that she gave Brian a haircut in their home right before their wedding.
Since their plan was to originally to elope, they kept their wedding small and intimate. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends, many of whom had traveled long distances just to celebrate with them. It was an honor to capture this season in their lives.
