Hands down one of my FAVORITE venues of 2022. Everything about this wedding was beautiful from beginning to end. Out of all the venues that I had photographed, this one was the most unique. Sarah and Matt said their “I Do’s” at the Chapel of Our Lady at the Presidio. The reception then followed over at the Presidio Officers Club. The Presidio Officers Club is rich with history and beautiful views of the San Francisco bay. I learned while I was there that the tile entry way (that I used in her shoe detail photo) is the oldest tile in San Francisco! Living in San Francisco, Sarah and Matt love walking, biking and running through out the Presidio. Therefore the Presidio Officers Club was the perfect backdrop for their September wedding.
The day began with perfect clear, sunny skies. There was so much excitement as they both got ready with their closest friends and loved ones. I began the day by photographing their details (vow books, invitations, florals, etc) and I couldn’t help but notice how thoughtful every single detail that they incorporated was. Every piece held a beautiful sentiment; from the pin on Sarah’s bouquet to the custom stamp Sarah designed using an “S” and an “M”. The joy surrounding their day was unparalleled. During the ceremony and speeches there was barely a dry eye in the house. Hearing stories from their loved ones and learning more about their relationship was so special. To top it off, at the end of the night, Matt performed a song that he wrote for Sarah. It was so beautiful. Being able to witness a love like theirs was beyond inspiring.
