It’s hard to imagine a more magical place to get married, then on the bluffs in Mendocino. Nicole and Enrique said their “I do’s” along the gorgeous coastline of Mendocino. Of course, there are always parts of a wedding day that are beyond our control and slightly unpredictable. For Nicole and Enrique, that meant a full on RAIN SHOWER right in the middle of their ceremony. The forecast had been dancing back and forth between clear skies and rain the week leading up to their wedding. As I drove to Mendocino that morning, the skies were clear and the sun was shining. I remember thinking “there is no way it will rain, this weather is perfect!” Well…I was wrong. But I have to admit, while it was cold, it was beautiful. Everyone was in amazing spirits, cheering Nicole and Enrique on for the entire ceremony. When the wind and rain picked up, everyone just cheered louder. Seeing the joy from all of their loved ones was so special. And with the most perfect timing, the clouds cleared up just in time for their first kiss as a married couple. The sun even decided to poke through for their couples photos.
After the ceremony everyone headed back to Spring Ranch where they were greeted with warm fires, cozy blankets and delicious food. Despite the weather, everyone was excited and eager to celebrate the newlyweds. It was a beautiful November wedding that I am so grateful to have been a part of.
