Foggy Engagement Session on the California Coast

Ohhhhh where do I even start with these two. Maybe we start with how moody and amazing the beach was? Or their adorable and sweet pup that joined us? How I can’t even begin to describe my excitement for their wedding in 2024?

Or…let’s start with how Madeline repeatedly told me that she would be awkward in front of the camera (like how 99% of us feel). I continuously reassured her that she would be fine, and she continuously told me she would look like a dork. Well….I think the photos we took for their engagement session speak for themselves! My ultimate goal for every session is making sure that you feel comfortable, relaxed and most importantly, that you have fun. We spent the entire session laughing and joking around. I’m not kidding, I left the session thinking I didn’t even do a “shoot” because it felt like hanging out with two old friends. If you are ever wondering whether or not to do an engagement session, DO IT. Especially if you are feeling nervous about taking photos. It is the perfect “warm-up” for the wedding day and it allows us to get to know each other before the big day!
